The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the Lagos State House of House in Kosofe constituency I, Mr. Lanre Carew has debunked the rumour that he has backed out of the race, saying he os still contesting.
He said he has not stepped down for any person as against the rumour circulating on social media that he had stepped down from the race.
He described the rumour as a baseless and incorrect statement.
Carew, who boasted of his victory at poll, urged his supporters, well-wishers and the party loyalists to continue their efforts in mobilising supports and votes from the electorate ahead of March 11 election.
He said the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) has registered him as the candidate of SDP for the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for kosofe constituency 1.
He reiterated his assurance to secure victory at the polls on March 11.
