Sanwo-olu Names Newly Commissioned 420 Ajara Housing Estate After Late Akinsanya Sunny Ajose
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has named the newly commissioned Ajara Housing Estate in Badagry after the late Lagos State Head of Service and member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Akinsanya Sunny Ajose.
The governor made the announcement today during the commissioning of the 420 housing units, describing the gesture as a tribute to Ajose’s years of dedicated and meritorious service to Lagos State.
The newly christened Akinsanya Sunny Ajose Housing Estate comprises 420 home units spread across 35 blocks, featuring a blend of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. The estate is designed to provide decent and affordable accommodation for low- and medium-income earners across the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the project underscores his administration’s commitment to expanding Lagos’ housing stock, reducing the housing deficit, and promoting inclusive urban development.
He further stated that immortalizing Akinsanya Sunny Ajose was a fitting recognition of his selfless contributions to the growth and stability of Lagos State’s civil service and governance structure.
