The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu attended the Global Tourism Investment Summit held in London.
The aim of this event is to unlock new pathways to Sustainable Tourism and new insights on the future of environmentally friendly investments.
Giving his feedback from the meeting, Sanwo-Olu said ” I urged investors to partner with us to create a sustainable tourism ecosystem leveraging Nigeria’s vast human capital and natural resources.
Represented by the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, we highlighted the achievements our administration has made in tourism development and the significant contributions of the arts, fashion, and music sectors in promoting Lagos on the global stage.
Since the beginning of our administration, we’ve trained thousands of youth in various creative arts fields and provided grants to filmmakers and other professionals, fostering Lagos as Africa’s creative hub.
We remain committed to improving the tourism landscape in Lagos, integrating Entertainment and Tourism as key components of our THEMES+ agenda.”
