Sanwo-Olu Extends Heartfelt Condolences To Epe Crash Victims

A cement truck owned by the Dangote Company collided with a Tricycle and a parked Camry car at Aiyetoro market in the Lekki-Epe axis of Lagos State.

The accident which claimed three lives and an uncertain number of injured people occured on Monday 13 November, 2024. The accident was caused by a brake failure of the truck.

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, in a statement on his social media handle expressed his grief. He said “I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences in light of the tragic traffic accident that occurred in the Aiyetoro area of Epe, Lagos State, yesterday, Monday, November 11, 2024.

Reports indicate that a cement truck suffered brake failure, resulting in the unfortunate loss of lives and injuries sustained.

“With deep sorrow, I extend my sympathies to the families of those affected. I also pray for the departed souls and for the speedy recovery of those injured.

“May the families find solace in the love and support surrounding them, and may the cherished memories of their loved ones bring them some comfort as they navigate their grief.
