Sanwo-Olu Celebrates Graduands Of Government Technical Colleges

The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu took celebrated the graduation of over 2000 students from Government Technical Colleges as skilled professionals on 2nd December, 2024.

“Today, I am proud to announce that over 2,000 students from our five Government Technical Colleges graduated as skilled professionals during the Year 2024 Graduation Ceremony.

“This event, coordinated by the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB), underscores our administration’s commitment to education and technology.

“Today, we celebrate not just their achievements but also the potential they represent for the future of Lagos State and Nigeria.

“Technical and vocational education is vital as it equips our youth with practical skills essential for a dynamic economy. Our graduates have the tools to make a difference in various fields such as engineering, construction, ICT, business, and the creative arts.

“This initiative aligns with our T.H.E.M.E.S+ agenda, which focuses on investing in the skills of our youth to build a prosperous and inclusive society.”

Sanwo-Olu’s administration has been solely committed to uplifting Lagos Youths since his assumption of office in 2019. He has established a lot of developmental and vocational skills programmes to help talented youths learn and utilize their various skills and expertise.
