The SanlamAllianz Women’s Network has taken bold steps to reshape learning opportunities in Eti Osa, Lagos State, leading a high-impact initiative that champions inclusive education and reinforces the company’s commitment to community development.

The event united employees, students, and local stakeholders, highlighted by a powerful keynote from Abimbola Lawson, Company Secretary and Head of Legal and Compliance at SanlamAllianz Life Insurance. Lawson urged students to see education as a springboard for personal growth and self-reliance, telling them, “Education gives you the power to make informed choices and build a future anchored on integrity and purpose.”

The principal of the beneficiary school, Mrs Abosede Oyewole, lauded the organisation for its generosity, noting that donated books and educational resources would significantly enhance learning. She also expressed hopes for SanlamAllianz’s continued impact on local communities.

Driven by active staff participation, the initiative mirrors SanlamAllianz’s broader ethos of inclusivity and sustainable development. It aligns with global programs by Allianz, such as Allianz NEO, which focus on gender balance, equitable representation, and empowering employees to create lasting social change.

SanlamAllianz, a joint venture between Sanlam, one of Africa’s largest financial services firms, and Allianz, a global insurance powerhouse, launched operations in Nigeria in 2025. The company has since combined corporate growth with social responsibility, translating values into tangible community impact.

By leveraging its women-led network to expand educational access, SanlamAllianz is not only transforming lives today but also building a foundation for a more equitable and opportunity-filled future for children in Eti Osa and beyond.
