Ruth Kadiri: Why I Keep My Private Life Out of the Spotlight

Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has opened up about why she deliberately keeps her private life separate from her professional career.
The mother of two said the last thing she wants is to lose her sense of self while pursuing success in the entertainment industry.
Speaking in an interview with Jay OnAir, Kadiri explained that she treasures her private life deeply because it represents her personal source of happiness and fulfilment.
“The last thing I want to do as a person is to lose myself in the process of being an entertainer,” she said. “I need to be able to keep the wealth of happiness or fulfilment for myself whilst growing and building what I want to build. And I’m not going to let anybody sway me.”
Kadiri’s remarks highlight the increasing conversation among celebrities about maintaining boundaries and mental balance in the face of fame and public scrutiny.
