FC Robo Queens of Lagos have zoomed to the quarter final of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament (BOWFT).
The Lagos Landladies began their title defense against Fortress Ladies and defeated the Benin girls 3-1 at the Uniben Sport Complex to lay claim to the three points at stake.
The second game against Royal Queens saw Robo Queens crushing Royal Queens 5-0 at the Western Boys High School to qualify to the quarter final having a game at hand.
A win or draw in the last group game against Heartland Queens will see Robo Queens top the group and will face the second runner up in group A.
Folashade Ijamilusi leads the goal scorers chart of the BOWFT with five goals as she scored a goal in the first game against Fortress Ladies and grabbed four goals in the second game against Royal Queens of Warri.
