Roads construction: Isolo postpones inauguration of Araromi/Oshinfodunrin

Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has postponed the inauguration of Araromi and Idowu Oshinfodunrin till 2pm today.

This follows a report by Echonews that the two projects cited in Ishaga/Ire-Akari and Ilasamaja Wards, respectively, would be inaugurated yesterday

as confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the council chairman Mr. Muyiwa Asalejo.

Asalejo had earlier noted that: ”If nothing untoward happens,” the two projects will be commissioned on Monday

However, on a visit to the streets, our correspondent observed that no preparation was visible and no council official was seen around.

Reacting to the development, the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Hon. Emmanuel Olojede announced that the inauguration has been postponed to today Tuesday by 2 pm.

“Yes, the inauguration has been postponed to tomorrow by 2 Pm,” he ascertained.
