The residents of Aregbe and Karimu Streets in Isolo LCDA have hinted at the challenges posed by the yet-to-be-completed road rehabilitation, urging the contractor and authority of the local council to speed up the work on the roads.
According to them, the projects, which commenced in February, was supposed to be completed in April as they were billed for three months.
However, their leaders- Chairman of Karimu Olushi CDA, Alhaji Karimu Aregbe, Mr Tajudeen and Alhaji Awoyemi Olaifa from Aregbe CDA- to the council chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye, to live up to the pledge to finish the project before his tenure ends.
They appreciated the council chairman for the project, emphasising that the infrastructural development is a dream come true for them in the community.
They explained that when completed, it will put a lasting smile on the face of road users and residents and improve the socio-economic activities in the community.
The Street all made a passionate appeal to the council boss for the completion of the road before he leaves office.
