Isolo Residents Rejoice as Govt Grades Apena St

Residents at Apena street in Isolo are set to experience infrastructural development following a road rehabilitation exercise in the area.
The initiative, according to them will ease vehicular and pedestrian and also ensure imoroved traffic conditions in the street and Isolo in general.
The residents disclosed that the rehabilitation of the road which adjoins Ago Palace will not only improve human and vehicular movement but also improve business activities and also enhance effective link up with nearby areas.
The exercise, which was supervised by the council’s Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Jamiu Omotayo, was carried out yesterday to the utmost delight of the residents, roads users and passersby alike all whom could now ply the long-stretch street more conveniently.
With the measure, which will also extend to Aswani/Emzor Way and Karimu, Oloruntobi and Amodu Faronbi Streets in further road modification initiative in the area, the residents eulogized the re-elected council Chairman, Adebayo Olasoju, over his continued priority on infrastructure, education, youth and women empowerment among others.
Olasoju assured that his second tenure will be to solidify his first term’s achievements with the provision of democratic dividends in the community.
