Residents laud Ariyoh over ongoing massive infrastructures

The residents of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area have commended the chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh over the infrastructures being constructed.

 

They particularly gave kudos to the council boss for continuing the works even as he battles the Coronavirus pandemic in the community.

 

Noting that he has been building  infrastructure while working assiduously to curtail the spread of the deadly virus in the community, the residents lauded the double efforts.

The commendation came during the inspection of all the ongoing road projects at Sehinde Calisto and Ewenla where the work is near completion as asphalt has been laid with little more work to be done.

The residents of St. Paul Street expressed their joy for the quality of work done in changing the face of their road.

 

A community leader, Dr. Ariyoh Akiode, who spoke on behalf of the community, said: “I am glad that St. Paul Street is wearing a new look as a result of the effort of the Local Government in ensuring that the work is done. We promise that the facility will be put to proper usage when completed.”

 

At Adesanya, Raliat Memudu and Oyegoke Streets, crush stones have been laid with correction on the drainages while asphalt laying is to commence soon.

The residents of Adesayan and other streets could not hide their joy as they trooped out en-mass to appreciate the council chairman for his efforts in ensuring that the over 1km road was repaired.

 

However, they also used the occasion to lament the stress posed by the lockdown amd got a pledge from the chairman to extend palliatives to them to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home.

 

Ariyoh also promised the residents that he would continue to strive till the best of the local government becomes more evident, saying more roads will be receiving the attention of the local government before the arrival of the rainy season.
