Residents Commend Council Chairman Over Road Construction Project In Isolo

Residents in Isolo, Lagos are enthusiastic over an ongoing road construction in the area.
Last Friday, the council management, under the leadership of the Chairman, Adebayo Olasoju, began the infrastructural project at Ibadan Street in Ilasamaja area of the community.
The residents lauded the Chairman alongside project contractor, JIDSMA Nigeria Limited, over the exercise which according to them will ensure easy accessibility for motorists and other road users.
The denizens also mentioned that the project, when completed, will provide better link up between the area and other vicinity in Isolo and Lagos at large.
The infrastructure will also help in business activities, as mentioned by a resident, Ishmael Olawale, who spoke with our correspondent.
Olawale said that the construction process at Ibadan Street is a continuation of infrastructural provision after the council management constructed a road at Baale Street of the community in May 2023.
A transporter, Israel Olatunbosun said: ” This is a development we are happy about. Kudos to Mr. Olasoju for what he is doing for the people of Isolo.
“He has shown yet again that he is s a man of integrity by being fidelity on his promise prior to election. This will enable business for motorists like me and also other road users.”
A resident in the area who stood around watching the construction project said in anonymity:“I’m thankful to the Chairman for remembering also here at Ibadan Street.
“We are also expecting that project also gets to close areas like Cecilia Odutuga to further link with Ogunbowale to create a ring road that will completely take traffic from the main road.”
A house owner, Sheikh Abdullahi Olorunbe pleaded for swift completion of the exercise. The cleric said: “We hope the project is completed quickly as the case of Baale street. When completed, we will take ownership and ensure its proper usage through the Community Development Association, CDA.”
The inhabitants in the area where however admonished to put in efforts in contributing to a seamless work by the construction company.
