Residents of Origele and Ese-Ofin in the inner part of Ojo Local Government Area have appreciated the council boss, Hon. Rasulu Idowu over his approval of the construction of a new concrete pedestrian bridge that would link the Origele and Ese-Ofin communities together.
The, residents who spoke to ECHONEWS, said the construction would ease pedestrian movement in the area due to the state of the road.
They noted that as a riverine community, it is a great opportunity for residents because to them the construction is a path to earning better things in years to come because they believe they are recognized by the government due to their geographical restriction.
They appealed to the government to bring in more infrastructure to aid their development as not just the road is the setback of the community, electricity, among other factors has also been a dilemma to all.
