Rescue team solicits support from public

The rescue team of an identified young boy in Orile-Agege LCDA has solicited financial support to cater for the young lad.
The boy was said to have been found injured on a roadside in the council.
The team consist of the council’s Supervisor for Works, Hon. Kazeem Abatan and other good samaritans were said to have helped locate the boy’s parents at Owode, Idiroko, Ogun State.
Investigation revealed that the boy ran away from his guardian in Agege and joined a suspected teenage cult, Awawa boys in the council.
He was said to have been abandoned after being pushed out of a moving vehicle as a means to escape from security operatives chasing his gang at night.
At present, he has reunited with his family, sought medical attention and was allocated to a primary school.
Abatan and his group further appealed to the general public to contribute towards the survival of the young lad to sustain his growth and education in years to come.
