The Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, has sent his goodwill message to Muslims of the council area and beyond as they begin the Holy Month of Ramadan today.

Olasoju’s goodwill was conveyed in a special release published from his media office, in which the council boss congratulated adherents of the Islamic faith for witnessing the most profitable months in Islam.

While noting the uniqueness of this year’s Ramadan, which uniform global commencement coincides with that of Gregorian month of March, the council mayor called on Muslims and non-Muslims alike to maintain decency and leverage the favorability of the holy month to draw closer to God and unlock greater blessings.

“I am delighted to send warm greetings to adherents of the Islamic faith in our council area, Lagos State, and across the world on the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fasting. It’s a month that not only Muslims look forward to but also non-Muslims like myself, because who would want Allah’s blessing to elude them? No one!

“May I use this medium to humbly charge us all on the need to maintain decency in this auspicious month and draw as close as we can to Allah. Let’s engage more in humanitarian work during this special month to merit the floodgates of blessings from Allah,” the statement read.

Olasoju also urged Muslims to remember Isolo LCDA, Lagos State, and the nation in their supplications to God during this month of Ramadan. He wished everyone a rewarding fasting period.
