The chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government, Hon. Valentine Buraimoh, has urged artisan groups to refrain from idleness ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He said that their active participation in politics is needed as they are also a group that constitutes the Local Government structure.
Buraimoh said as skilled men, their active participation would build a bridge for them between the government and their group which will be fruitful in their entrepreneurial enterprise.
He saide that standing aloof on political matters will delimit their exposure and will not let the government know their needs not to talk of giving opportunities to them.
He appealed to them to do a house-to-house propagation as they are closer to the intrinsic part of the community.
The council boss boasted that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima will fully readdress the situation of the country.
He, therefore, urged them to get their PVCs and vote for all All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearers in their constituencies during the general elections.
