Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens defended their crown to emerge the champions of the second edition of the Fausat Balogun Memorial Cup in Mushin.

The Ikorodu based club defeated Papa Soccer Academy 2-0 to lift the trophy in style in what was a befitting gift to their coach who announced the birth of his new born baby on the day of the final.

The game was an exciting one and it took an early lead from Eletu Queens through Ebun Akinola to go 1-0 up in the encounter.

Papa Soccer Academy took control of the possession after going behind in the game but couldn’t make use of the chances that came their way.

The second half was a bumpy ride between both sides and Eletu Queens took advantage of a defensive mixup from Papa Soccer Academy for Taiwo Oladungbewo to net the second goal of the day.

Papa Soccer Academy threw all what they have in their coven to score a goal in the game but their wastefulness in front of goal was a major hindrance to the club scoring a goal in the game.
