The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has said that he has no issue with the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu but the process that produced him.
Obi said this when he appeared on a national television on Monday, stating that he has no interest in challenging whosoever had been declared winner by the Independence National Electoral Commission.
He said, “For me the process that produced the winner is more fundamental than the position itself because to be called an excellency, then the process that produces you must be excellent.”
He said that he had requested to check the electoral materials used in the election so as to know how INEC arrived at its declaration of winner.
” Unless we do that, we are not going to stop the rascality we witnessed in that election,” he said.
