Controversial singer Portable has taken a swipe at fellow artist Bella Shmurda following comments he made about him.

Bella Shmurda during an appearance on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast hosted by Isbae U, said he wouldn’t work with Portable, citing a lack of musical compatibility and a desire to avoid “wahala” (trouble).

“I just don’t see the connection in the music. I don’t want wahala, I want peace.”

The comment, however, did not go down well with Portable, who fired back by labeling Bella Shmurda a failed artist who couldn’t even afford a collaboration with him.

Boasting about his international recognition, Portable asserted in a video shared on his Instagram page that Bella Shmurda is nowhere near his level of fame and influence in the music industry.

“Anytime you wan do an interview, don’t mention my name again. You can’t feature me? I have been to America, London. No be who first blow o, na who dey blow dey go.

“Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures.”
