It was a moment of Joy and fulfillment for a Seasoned Administrator / Education Secretary, Hon Olalekun Alausa Adekoya (Apesin-ola 1 of Asa land), as he ends his tenure gracefully.
Owoseni Primary School, was the venue of the colorful event. To get things on the way, a prayer session was led by a Christian religious leader, Pastor Ojo. The gaiety began with eulogies from friends and colleagues of the administrator.
The Special Adviser on Basic Education, Alhaja Otun, congratulated the celebrant for serving with merit. Saying Adekoya Came – Saw & Conquered, the challenges of the Civil Service with dedication, hard work and recorded several achievements for an increase turnover, as Education Secretary in Oshodi / Isolo Local Government Education Authority(LGEA).
Praying for him, on his next career of choice, she said “Your ambition for political pursuance to higher ground, will be granted by God’ Grace”. Added that, 10 years is not a joke to hold the post of education Secretary.
The Tutor General / Permanent Secretary District VI, Mrs. Oluwafuminloya Onadipe also complemented Adekoya. She praised him for his commitment while in service. The Acting Education Secretary, Hon. Agbabiaka emphasized the need to work with diligence to attain heights of achievement, am exemplary example of Adekoya’s service, in the civil service.
In his recital of Hon. Alausa Adekoya’ profile, Mr. Olajumoke Agboola, said 2007 marked the beginning of the administrator’s mantle of leadership at the Educational Sector in Oshodi / Isolo LGEA.
“Because of his excellent performance and achievement, he was re-appointed for a second term in office, this ran till February 2017”. Adding that, his era in office, portray him, as a passionate person, who has a strong will for learning new things and using such knowledge for the progress of all.
The Celebrant’ Family Head (Olori-Ebi), Mrs. Sakirat Yusuf, said Adekoya has really made the family proud with his track record and all the accolade been said in the speeches of all the dignitaries in attendance. “We, the family are proud and happy to have him as a Brother and a member of the Adekoya’ Family; we wish him well in all of his future endeavors” she said.
Responding to all the complements and wishes, Hon. Alausa Adekoya, thanked God and all the people who made the day a huge success. Praying that the Almighty God, would reward them abundantly.
A stage play and cultural display to spice up the event, was exhibited by student representatives from schools within the Local Government Area.

Sokunle Olushola, the Director of Special Duties & Sch. Support Dst. VI Mrs Daramola, the Chairman, National Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Salawu, the Chairman, National Association of Students Union(NASU), Comrade Dennis, Rotary President, Rotarian Otun, Mrs. Fatoke, Mrs. komolafe , Olori-ebi of the Adekoyas, Mrs sakirat Yusuf, Pastor Ojo and his wife.
