The Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. (Barr.) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji, has called on qualified youths within the council area to take advantage of the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Police Force.
Describing the recruitment as a pathway to national service, discipline and long-term career development, the chairman encouraged eligible applicants to complete their online registration promptly and strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the Police Service Commission.
Interested candidates are required to register through the official portal at https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng.
According to the recruitment requirements, applicants must be Nigerians by birth and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN), a functional email address and an active phone number. They are also expected to upload relevant documents, including their SSCE results, birth certificate and certificate of origin.
Applicants must be of good character, free from financial embarrassment and must not have any criminal convictions. In addition, candidates are expected to demonstrate a genuine interest in a policing career and be medically, physically and psychologically fit for service.
For those applying under the General Duty category, the minimum height requirement is 1.67 metres for males and 1.64 metres for females. Male applicants must also have a minimum chest measurement of 86 centimetres. Female applicants must not be pregnant at the point of entry or during the training period.
Prospective recruits are also required to be free from any specified physical deformities or medical conditions that could hinder effective service.
The registration process is to be completed exclusively through the official Police Service Commission portal. After successful registration, applicants are to print their confirmation slip and submit it to the Chairman’s Office at the Ojokoro LCDA Secretariat, alongside their full name and mobile phone number.
The call, according to the chairman, aligns with the council administration’s ongoing commitment to youth empowerment, national development and the creation of meaningful opportunities for young people across Ojokoro LCDA.
