Re-energized, Phoenix Athletics Sports Club, Ado Ekiti is poised to become a formidable force in grassroots sports development, focusing on nurturing young talent, promoting fitness, and fostering positive values through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach.

The management of the club claims in a press release that a new chapter is “envisioned to develop Phoenix Athletics SC to a leading grassroots sports development hub in Nigeria and West Africa; a place where talents are nurtured, communities are united and champions are made.”

Unveiling this renewed focus, Bayo Olanlege, CEO of Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited, elaborated.

“This is a testament to our unwavering belief in the potential of every young athlete in Nigeria and beyond. Our mission is clear; to inspire, train, and elevate the next generation of athletes, while building a sports culture rooted in excellence, integrity, and opportunity,” Olanlege stated.

He also highlighted the critical pillars of the club’s operation to position Phoenix Athletics SC  as a beacon of sporting excellence and community pride. And it includes, Football Development; the club will field U15, U17, and U19 teams, competing in organized leagues and tournaments; a robust system for elite talent scouting and player advancement is being established, complemented by professional coaching, tactical training, and holistic wellness support.

Youth Empowerment; beyond the pitch, Phoenix Athletics SC is committed to the holistic development of its young athletes. This includes academic and life-skills mentoring, community workshops, leadership programs, and pathways to scholarships and international exposure.
