Peace Cup: Doctor Kolade Urges Teams To Abide By The Tournament Rules

The third edition of the Peace Cup is set to kickoff on the second of July 2023 in Lagos.

A total of 16 teams will be slugging it out to obtain a new champion after defending champions Akinola All Stars decided to step aside for a new king.

Renowned NPL match commissioner, Doctor Kolade said the tournament will provide a level free playing ground for all teams and the organizers won’t be partial to any club because it wants a great tournament.

He added that every player of the match winner till the final will be given a token encouraging fee of five thousand naira to add glamour to the event.

Doctor Kolade assures the clubs of certified and badge referees will officiate the games to avoid any controversies as he urge the clubs to also abide by the rules of the game and shun any indiscipline either from its officials or players.

Shuffle Select vs Sizoko FC will be the opening game of the Peace Cup by 11am on Sunday second of June 2023.
