Oyinade wins Toyota Camry at Education District VI staff awards

Mrs. Janet Oyinade, a teacher from Ilamoye Junior Grammar School, Okota, Isolo LCDA was the luckiest staff to win the grand prize (Toyota Camry) of the Education District VI) annual Merit Awards ceremony to mark 2018 academic session, held at Oregun Senior High School during the weekend.
District IV comprises Ikeja, Mushin and Oshodi Isolo LGAs
Oyinade, with her N500 ticket which was luckily picked, was announced the winner of the grand prize at the event organised to reward staffs who had worked relentlessly to support the education sector in 2018 academic year.

Other prize winners include Mr. Safiyu Sikiru from Ikeja Junior High school, Oshodi, who emerged Best Principal junior category, and Mr. Oluwaseyilayo Otegbade from Ilupeju Senior School, Mushin who was the Best Teacher senior category.
The awards covered both senior and junior categories for the best principal, best vice principal, best school, best head of department, best year tutor, best teacher, best student, best district officer and best non- teaching staff from first to third positions were appreciated.
Other event included the raffle draw games to appreciate the staff inputs of which ten different items were won, such as Toyota Camry known as Big daddy for first position won by Mrs. Janet Oyinade from Ilamoye Junior Grammar School, Okota; refrigerator for second position and plasmas TV for the third position.
Appreciating God for her luck, Oyinade who heartily expressed her joy over the car said: “I thank God who has honoured me with a car today, because I wasn’t expecting it. He favoured me just like Esther in the Bible.”
The former Tutor General /Permanent Secretary (TG/PS) Education District VI, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Onadipe expressed her joy towards the improvement on the district and efforts made to surpass the ones she had done, urging the staff never to relent on their efforts.
The host of the event, TG/PS District VI, Mr. Olusanya Ebenezer Abayomi thanked the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for creating a favourable platform to celebrate the workforce as he charged those who could not receive awards to put in their utmost best to be recipients of awards in the subsequent events.
