The General Manager of Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan has charged the newly decorated Commanding Officers to be more dutiful and ensure that their officers deliver on the mandate of the Agency as enshrined in the law establishing the Agency.

The Agency decorated new Commanding Officers for the five Divisional Headquarters, 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas.

Oyekan said the Agency’s margin of error is expected to reduce drastically given Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s mandate and their new appointments which went in line with the rebranding directive of Mr Governor.

He further said the new commanders are expected to take a cue from the efforts made by the Management by providing credible leadership for officers under their watch, while he also stressed the need for them to deliver their services professionally and with the highest possible standards.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende expressed his satisfaction with the good job the LNSA officers have been doing in the state.

“A good Nigeria starts with everyone of us,” he said as he congratulated the outgoing officers as well as all the decorated officers.

He however commended the state Governor Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for putting the round peg in the round hole in the person of the General manager LNSA Prince Ifalade Oyekan.

The appointment of new commanders followed the expiration of the tenure of the former commanders, most of who were on contract with the Agency having served in the defunct Neighbourhood Watch.
