Otunba Seliat Donates Land for Skill Centre, Library, and Town Hall in Mosan Okunola

The Chairman of Seliat Estate and renowned philanthropist, Otunba Seliat Akindoju, has generously donated parcels of land to the Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA) for the proposed construction of a Skill Acquisition Centre, Library, and Town Hall.
Expressing her gratitude, the Executive Chairman of Mosan Okunola LCDA, Hon. Akindele Adunni Opeyemi, praised Otunba Seliat for supporting her vision for these community development projects. She described him as a man of rare kindness and a benevolent heart, offering continuous prayers for his well-being.
During an official presentation at the Council Secretariat, Otunba Seliat formally handed over the documents and deeds of gift to Hon. Akindele, alongside members of the Okunola Elders Forum, led by Engr. Bosun Oduntan (Dunko).
The handover ceremony was witnessed by key officials, including the Chief of Staff, Hon. Falope Tolutope, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Tosin Afuwape (Snr.), and the Council Manager, Mrs. Abiola Aderinokun Apatira.
Engr. Oduntan commended Otunba Seliat’s remarkable gesture, emphasising that the donation would play a vital role in achieving the LCDA’s developmental goals. He further noted that the two Baales of the community have given their full blessings and approval for the projects.
Hon. Akindele assured residents that with continuous support, cooperation, prayers, and acts of generosity such as this, Mosan Okunola LCDA will achieve greater heights under the current administration.
