The paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka has replaced the vandalised vehicle of Chief Imam of Isolo, Alhaji Ahmodu Sodiq with a new Toyota Sienna SUV car.

The car was presented to the religious leader in the palace as a replacement for the one vandalised by cult members during a recent clash between Eiye and One Minutes Boys cult groups in the community.

The Chief Imam had earlier said that he would need about N600,000 to get the damaged vehicles repaired, disclosing that he had no capacity yet to raise such amount.

Commending the monarch for his support, the chief Imam said the gesture time to help him in his religious activities.
He said: “The new vehicle is better than the vandalised one and that is why I am so happy about it. It befits me. It satisfies me. Without any prior discussion, I was just called on Monday and the key was handed over to me. It was unexpected and I am so grateful for this wholeheartedly.”

The religious leader said he would continue to pray for the cult members to be repentant and turn a new leaf, saying they could still be useful to the society and religion.

“We shall be praying for them (cultists) to turn a new leaf and become useful for themselves and the society. It is our earnest prayer that Allah set their feet on the right path because I believe such incident wouldn’t have happened if they had been guided to the right path.”
