The outgoing Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh, has expressed his confidence in the ability of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede (Kendoo) to succeed him.
Ariyoh, who has finally accepted the candidacy of Oloyede to fly the party’s flag during the forthcoming local council election, said he has given his total support to make sure he (Oloyede) wins the election.
He said he has no doubt that in Oloyede’s ability to deliver if elected the chairman of the local government.
He said Oloyede’s business acumen will be a great tool, stating that the combination of his entrepreneurship skill and politics will make a good governance.
“Kendoo has contributed to the development of Oshodi, when the authority and power that he needs to function is given to him, as a business man, he will invest in Oshodi from where it is at the moment,” he commented.
Also speaking about Oloyede’s ability to rule Oshodi-Isolo LG, the former Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, said the APC members have made the best choice for themselves and the entire residents if the local government area by electing Oloyede as their chairmanship candidate.
According to him, this will be the first time in history that the members of the party in Oshodi would be allowed to pick a candidate of their choice to represent them at the council election.
With great joy, he disclosed that Oshodi-lsolo LG is heading towards what the people’s dream of having inclusive governance.
Ogundele gave assurance of landslide victory for the party especially with Oloyede as the flag bearer, saying there would be difference in the number and categories of people coming out to vote for the party during the election.
