In a notable display of community engagement and grassroots outreach, Chief Mrs. Fadekemi Oloyede, wife of the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, has initiated a door-to-door campaign across all seven wards of the area.
The initiative, which began on Wednesday at Oluyeye Ward and continued Thursday in Mafoluku Ward, aims to inform residents about the achievements of the current administration and encourage support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming local government elections on July 12.
Chief Mrs. Oloyede was joined by the councillorship candidates for both wards—Hon. Rasheed Obasa in Oluyeye and Hon. Kazeem Abayomi in Mafoluku—as they visited neighborhoods, interacted with residents, and distributed campaign materials such as souvenirs and branded items.
Residents turned out in large numbers at each location to show support, commending the administration of Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede for its community-focused initiatives. Many expressed their willingness to support APC candidates at the polls as a gesture of appreciation.
The campaign continues to gain traction as it moves through the remaining wards, promoting a message of continuity, development, and inclusive governance.
