The first child of 2024 was joyfully welcomed by the Oyebiyi family of Orile Agege Local Council Development Area. A beautiful baby girl was delivered on January 1st, at 12:45 am, at Orile Agege General Hospital. During their moment of joy, the proud parents received a visit from Mrs. Mojisola Babatunde, the Chairperson of Orile Agege LCDA, who was accompanied by Mrs. Titilayo Alejo, the Head of the Department of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, and Alhaja Kafilat Akanni-Pedro, the Vice Chairman and Super for WAPA.
The baby and her mother received a hundred thousand naira cash donation during the visit, in addition to necessities like food and hygiene, and other kind presents. She sent her best wishes for the newborn’s health and happiness, alongside her heartfelt congratulations.
In keeping with the festive mood, the Iletogun family also celebrated the birth of their baby boy, who arrived at 3:37 a.m.
To commemorate this unique occasion, the family received supplies, toiletries, and baby clothes as gifts.
These endearing actions demonstrate the community’s dedication to commemorating the happy new year and building a sense of solidarity and support among its citizens.
