Orile Agege LCDA Chairman, Mr. Johnson Sunday Babatunde, expressed his delight and satisfaction in the success stories of previous recipients of GCE forms, citing several of them as having completed higher education with exemplary results.

 

This sense of pride motivated Chairman Babatunde to continue distributing GCE forms to deserving youths, underscoring his administration’s commitment to investing in the educational development of the community.

 

The Chairman’s address to the beneficiaries not only encouraged them to excel but also highlighted the critical role that educational initiatives play in empowering the youth and fostering social and economic progress within the LCDA.

He appealed to the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity that has presented itself to them by making sure they study seriously and come out in flying colours. He said “Education is the bedrock of development and it is necessary you work hard to develop yourselves to make sure you deliver yourselves out of proverty. Education is one of the major weapons that would help you achieve this”.

 

He also advised them that when they finally gain admission into institutions of higher learning, they should make sure they do not get involved in cultism and other vices that would jeopardise their future.

 

He further thanked the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Khafilat Oluwatoyin Akanni-Pedro who also doubles as the Supervisor for Education and also the Head of Department Education and Library Services of the LCDA, Mrs Ogunyankin Foluke for always encouraging his administration to embark on this project which has yielded so much results yearly.
