As part of its efforts to ensure the success of the annual Back to School Outreach, the Orile-Agege General Hospital’s dedicated Back to School Committee has taken its awareness campaign to the streets, markets, and community centers in the area.
Starting from Monday, 19th August 2024, the team has been tirelessly spreading vital information about the event, making sure that every child and parent in the community is informed and eager to participate in this much-anticipated initiative.
The committee which await the arrival of the children and their families for their upcoming Back to School Outreach, says they are excited to announce that the team is working diligently to ensure this year’s event surpasses all previous ones in terms of engagement and quality of services provided.
Echonews reports that during the 5-day program, parents and children will have access to FREE comprehensive screening and interventions across the following six key departments:
Eye Center, Dental Center, ENT Center, Paediatrics, Nutrition & Dietetics, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Social Welfare
It was gathered that each child’s participation costs ₦15,000, amounting to ₦37.5 million to support all 2,500 children.
