…Pledges To Prioritise Staff Welfare

The Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan has assured the staff of the council that she will continue to give adequate attention to their welfare, to enable them to discharge their duties efficiently and effectively.
The council chairman stated this last Friday at the council secretariat while handing over keys of 26 official vehicles to elected councilors, political appointees (Supervisors), and three principal management staff members.
According to her, the provision of official vehicles by her administration is aimed at motivating public servants working in the Oriade council to show total commitment and dedication to their duties to provide quality and selfless service delivery for the people at the grassroots.
Akinlola-Hassan charged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the good gesture of her administration by ensuring that they were punctual at work and more hardworking than ever before.
The council chairman disclosed that the newly acquired staff bus will be used to convey staff residing in the Badagry axis, adding that in the next few months, another staff bus will be purchased for staff residing in the Igando, Ikotun, and Egbeda axis.
She also assured Heads of Departments and Units that they would be provided with their official vehicles in the next few months.
All beneficiaries of the new official vehicles were happy to receive their keys from the council boss, promising to be more dedicated and committed to their duties in the overall interest of the growth and development of Oriade LCDA.
Among the officials who were given official vehicles are the councillors representing the seven wards in the council area, and all the supervisors that constitute the executive committee of the council, including the Chief Of Staff to the council chairman, Mr. Daisi Muhideen.
Others are the Council Manager, Builder Akitoye Semiu Babatunde; Council Treasurer, Mr. Olugbuyi Babatunde, and Council Engineer, Engr Alufoge Fatai.
The branch chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Oriade LCDA, Comrade Olukolu Falilu, and the Head of the Human Resources Department, Mrs. Simire Bolanle received the key of the Coaster Staff Bus from the council chairman.
