Oreke Distributes Footwears, Sucks To RCM Pupils

Miss Oluwatosin Tanimowo, crowned Miss Oreke 2024 in a spectacular event organized by the Ejinrin Youth Organization (EYO) marked her reign with a significant philanthropic initiative at RCM Primary School, Ejinrin.

The leadership of EYO, led by President Prince Ademola Adetola, joined forces with the newly crowned Miss Oreke and ambassador Magdalene Essi to carry out a community-based project at RCM Primary School, Ejinrin.

Aiming to contribute to societal development and promote support for children’s education, the team distributed forty pairs of footwear and socks to pupils of the school. Additionally, extra socks were awarded to the winners of general knowledge questions, fostering a spirit of learning and engagement.

Reflecting on the project, President Ademola Adetola emphasized the importance of leadership in addressing the country’s challenges. He commended Miss Oreke Beauty Contest for striving to bridge the leadership gap and instill a sense of community service among young ladies.

President Adetola recalled a previous donation by the Ejinrin Youth Organization, highlighting the positive impact of such initiatives on the community. Drawing from his own teaching experience, he expressed a deep connection with the children, having once taught in primary and secondary schools.

The organization extends gratitude to stakeholders for their unwavering support, with special thanks to Mr. Abisoye Onafeko, an alumnus of RCM Primary School, for his support and encouragement to the children.

Miss Oluwatosin Tanimowo’s inaugural philanthropic endeavour stands as a testament to the commitment of the Ejinrin Youth Organization and its reigning queen to community development and education.
