Oloyede extols Tinubu’s victory at poll

Kendoo congratulates Tinubu

The chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede  (Kendoo) has congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his electoral victory.
He said it is a well deserved victory going by the antecedents of Tinubu across the country.
He said the emergence of Tinubu as a president is a great blessing to the country which must be protected.
Oloyede, therefore, appreciated Nigerians for choosing the best among the contestants.
Tinubu was announced the winner of tge presidential election having pulled the total votes of 8,794,726 against his closest opponent, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who got 6,983,823.
The council boss, in his congratulatory message, also commended President Mohammadu Buhari for conducting a free, fair and credible election.
He charged Nigerians to pledge their support and commitment to ensuring the success of the Tinubu’s administration for a better Nigeria.
“I congratulate our president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his electoral victory. I also applaud the Nigerian people for their resilient and commitment towards a better Nigeria.
“It is a moment when hope is re-born, faith is rekindled and a fresh fire of patriotism is released for the task ahead, It is an extraordinary sign of Nigeria’s strength and resilience as a country that there has been an election with its outcome accepted so clearly despite all the challenges Nigeria has  faced, It gives all of us, who care about Nigeria, great optimism and confidence in its future.”
He equally praised the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) and its chairman, which he said deserves special recognition for what independent international observers have adjudged, a largely peaceful and orderly election.
“Nigeria is bigger than everyone of us, and we must all rise beyond all political, ethnic, religious, and sectional differences.”
He prayed for a successful administration filled with peace, development and prosperity of Nigeria and its citizens.
