The Ilasamaja ward of Isolo Local Council Development Area has recently been added to the list of wards visited for the Door-2-Door food palliative distribution program by the council chairman, Mr. Olasoju Adebayo.
Residents of Ilasamaja woke up to find the council boss and his team, along with vans carrying food items for distribution.
The distribution started early at 8 am from Araromi Street and continued to other nearby streets such as Tanimola, Ifelodun, Alhaji Yahya, Gbadamosi, and Aladesanyin.
Each household received the food items as the council boss made stops at each frontage. This act of kindness is part of Olasoju’s efforts to support residents during the economic challenges the nation is facing.
The visit to Ilasamaja Ward follows similar distributions in Ishagatedo/Ire-Akari and Akinbaiye Wards in the council area.
Similar to other places, the thoughtful gesture received a genuine compliment and gratitude from the resident who were all very excited to receive the food item.
Olasoju encouraged the residents to remain confident in President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies and promised that the council will continue its efforts to reduce the temporary difficulties.
