Olasoju, others get new role as Shammeh reshuffles cabinet

The Vice Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Bayo Olasoju and two other executive members have switched positions in the recent cabinet rejig as carried out by the council chairman, Hon Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye.

This is coming a week after the media consultant to the chairman, Mr. Sharafadeen Olaleye hinted that a slight shake-up amongst the cabinet members is imminent.

The latest development was made known by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon Emmanuel Olojede shortly after the Executive Committee meeting of the council held at the Conference Room in the Chairman’s Office on Monday.

According to Olojede, the Vice Chairman, Hon Bayo Olasoju who previously doubled as the supervisor for Health has been redeployed to Youth & Sports. He is to be replaced by Hon. Nofisat Shobayo-Lawal, the former Supervisor for Agriculture.

Similarly, the former Supervisor for Youth & Sports, Hon Wasiu Oketoki has been redeployed to Agriculture Department while other supervisors retain their respective posts.

The SLG informed that the minor reshufflement is aimed at repositioning the executive committee for effective service delivery in the last lap of the present administration’s tenure in office.
The minor shake-up, according to him takes immediate effect.
