The Okeyson Cup is still in the first leg of the round of 16 and it has experienced some big wins in the competition.
Home United crushed Ultimate Warriors 5-1 to have a big advantage going into the second leg on the 4th of September 2022 at LSDPC estate Ile Iwe meta, Isolo.
Bush FC whitewashed Metro FC 9-1 in clinical fashion to set a foot in the quarter final of the Okeyson Cup. It will take a miracle on top of a mountain for Metro FC to comeback in the returning fixture.
Mayweather FC have a slim advantage over Excel FA (3-2), the return leg will be a cracker as both Mayweather FC and Excel FA will be looking towards qualifying to the next stage.
Rocky FC vs Sunlight FC will be another great encounter as Sunlight won the first leg 3-2 and they need at least a draw to seal their quarter final berth, while Rocky FC will have to win with at least a two goal margin to advance to the quarter final.
The game between Muab FC and Jago FC is still very much open and it’s a game for either side to loose, both sides played a goalless draw in the first leg and a win for either side will seal a quarter final place.
Sasomint United vs Itire All Stars is another tricky encounter as both teams will be hoping to win the second leg after playing a barren draw in the first leg.
