Ojodu LCDA Hosts Lagos State House Of Assembly Committee On Health Matters

Ojodu LCDA today hosted the Lagos State House Of Assembly Committee On Health Services during their working visit which was marked by productive discussions and a detailed inspection of health facilities within the LCDA.

 

The committee, led by its Chairman, Mr. Musibau Lawal were warmly received by the Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Mr. David Olusegun Odunmbaku who expressed gratitude for the committee’s visit, stating that it underscores the importance of health services oversight in ensuring quality healthcare for all.

 

The visit included a thorough tour of all Primary Healthcare Centres in Ojodu LCDA where the committee assessed the state of medical equipment, availability of essential drugs and general working conditions of the health workers. The committee members interacted with the healthcare staff, patients and local community leaders to obtain comprehensive information on the healthcare challenges and successes within the LCDA.

 

Lawal commended the efforts of Ojodu LCDA in enhancing healthcare services despite the challenges posed by limited resources. He noted the visible improvements in infrastructure and the dedication of the health personnel. Furthermore, he commended the Chairma5n of Ojodu LCDA for his efforts in the provision of medical supplies and the employment of healthcare workers.

In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Mr. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, informed the committee of the council’s ongoing efforts at providing quality healthcare services while emphasizing the council’s proactive approach in seeking partnerships and support from both the state government and private sector to bolster healthcare services.
