Ojodu Council Boss Begins Road Construction of Irebawa Street

A momentous occasion for the Ojodu Local Council Development Area was marked by the inauguration of the construction of Irebawa Street, along with its adjoining roads, by Mr. Segun Odunmbaku, Chairman of the LCDA.

This initiative, designed to enhance the connectivity and accessibility of the Oke ira community, marks a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts to improve the local infrastructure, making it easier for vehicles to navigate the streets and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

While speaking at a stakeholders’ engagement session, Mr. Odunmbaku underscored that the project stems from his administration’s “community-oriented budget,” he expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mr. James Abiodun Faleke and Mr. Adedamola Kasunmu for their impactful constituency projects, which have greatly contributed to the development of Ojodu LCDA.

 

During his address, Mr. Odunmbaku praised the residents of Irebawa community for their cooperation and support, urging them to continue working in tandem with the contractors to guarantee a seamless and successful execution of the project. He pledged that the construction would adhere to global standards, featuring an advanced drainage system and street lighting to ensure safety and longevity, and reassured the residents that the project would be completed within six months.

 

The event was met with widespread praises from community members, traditional rulers, youth representatives, and other esteemed guests who lauded the Chairman for his visionary leadership and commitment to the development of the region.

 

 

Echonews reports that In a show of support for the Chairman and his administration, the residents, traditional rulers, community leaders, and youth representatives present at the event unanimously pledged their unwavering cooperation and commitment to the successful completion of the Irebawa Street project.

 

This support reflects the strong community spirit and dedication to the progress of the region, as well as the trust and confidence the residents have in the leadership of Mr. Odunmbaku and his administration.

 

In addition, Mr. Odunmbaku announced that Oduroye Street and Modinotu Obaremi Street would also be included in the construction plan. This aligns with the “HEYS AGENDA” , promising to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance road safety in Ojodu LCDA.
