Ogunlewe presents N3.8bnbudget to legislative arm

The chairman of Kosofe  LG, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, has presented the council’s 2023 Budget to be passed by the legislature.
The appropriation bill was pegged at N3, 828,702,174, expected to be funded by internally generated revenue, value added tax, allocation from the federal government, and other grants from the state government.
Speaking, Ogunlewe said his administration is more committed to implementing projects and programmes that will have meaningful impact on lives of the populace.
He emphasised that individual and communities would be provided with necessary facilities, infrastructures and conducive environment that will make them utilise their full potentials and capabilities.
He commended the legislative arm for their efforts and uncommon support given to the executive arm.
He further appreciated the work undertaken by the council staff as well as the party leaders, CDC, CDA and all the NGOs to move the council forward.
The council leader, Hon. Idowu Oluloro thanked the chairman and his team for their jobs in the community.
He pledged to look at the budget, scrutinize it for necessary correct before being passed by the House.
He, therefore, appealed for meticulous implementation of the budget.
