Former Sunshine Queens player Maureen Umeugochukwu has joined French Second Division Femenina side US. St. Malo FC on a one year contract.
The highly-rated Defender had a great season with Turkish Women Football Super League Side, Adana Idmayurduspor, where she joined St. Malo from.
Umeugochukwu is St. Malouine’s third signing this season, following the arrivals of French International Florie Saint-Cricq and Tunisian international Raina Aduina.
Maureen Umeugochukwu started her career with Lagos Football Academy Young Talent Academy, before moving to another Academy side Rising Queens FC Of Akure, before later donning the colours of Edo Queens, Pelican Stars and Sunshine Queens, all at a very young age.
“I am really excited to be in St. Malo, and I can’t wait to get started,” Maureen told the Club’s official website.
