The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Segun David Odunmbaku, delivered a compelling keynote speech at the official launch of a two-year healthcare support initiative organized by the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in collaboration with the Grants Foundation (GF).

The project aims to support the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) in enhancing primary healthcare services through the implementation of digitally-enabled Primary Health Centers (PHCs).

Hon. Odunmbaku commended the collaboration between CHAI and the Grants Foundation, noting the initiative’s timely alignment with the Lagos State Government’s commitment to improving healthcare outcomes at the grassroots level.

He emphasized the vital role of digital technology in revolutionizing health systems, sharing insights on Ojodu LCDA’s ongoing deployment of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to streamline PHC operations and enhance care quality.

Extending his appreciation to the LSPHCB for steering the project, Odunmbaku highlighted Ojodu LCDA’s advancements in its EMR program, including staff training, IT infrastructure, and data management.

With plans to extend the program to six other PHCs in Ojodu LCDA, the collaboration is expected to further strengthen operational efficiency, data management, and overall care quality for residents.
