Odunmbaku Commissions Newly Constructed Soyemi Street

In an exciting development for Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, the Chairman of the local government, Mr. Segun Odunmbaku, officially inaugurated the newly constructed Soyemi Street in Ojodu Berger, an endeavor that marks a significant milestone in the community’s infrastructure development.

 

The project, which was undertaken to improve vehicular mobility and enhance the overall safety and efficiency of the road, represents a testament to the continued commitment of the local government toward the betterment of the region’s road networks, setting a positive precedent for future initiatives.

 

 

Mr. Odunmbaku noted that the project is a product of his administration’s “community-oriented budget,” underscoring the collective commitment to progress. He expressed gratitude to Hon. James Abiodun Faleke (MHR) for his unwavering support, which has been instrumental in driving development across Ojodu LCDA.

 

The Council Chairman, Mr. Segun Odunmbaku, was honored with an award by the Soyemi Community members, in recognition of his efforts toward the successful completion of the Soyemi Street construction. In his response, he expressed his gratitude for their patience and support during the project’s implementation while announcing ongoing developmental projects including Adeshina/Adeniyi Street at Oke-ira, Adekambi Street , Irebawa Street, Ayo Alabi Road, Ajayi Road, Shorinmade Street and other upcoming projects including the recreational centre, Odo Eran plank market, Ewe Obaja Market and Sunday Market reconstructions.

 

LGA Party Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Olusola Kokumo, commended Hon. Odunmbaku’s exceptional leadership in areas like health, palliatives, and education. Additionally, community leaders, including the Apex Leader, Hon. Matthew Adesanya and APC State Deputy Treasurer, Chief Sonola, praised the Council Chairman’s active role in transforming Ojodu LCDA.

 

The event featured attendance from traditional rulers, council officials, party leaders, and community representatives, who lauded the Chairman’s dedication to Ojodu LCDA’s continuous development.
