Oboli FC of Ward B, Oworo, has emerged champions of the Second Edition of the Hon. OKLA Unity Cup after an emphatic 3–1 win over Megida FC (Gbagada Ward C) in a pulsating finale that electrified the Gbagada Youth Centre on Sunday, December 7, 2025.
The highly anticipated final drew thousands of football-loving residents from across Kosofe Constituency I, all eager to witness the climax of a tournament that has fast grown into one of the most exciting grassroots football events in Lagos.
From kickoff, it was clear the match would deliver quality football. Oboli FC dominated with tactical cohesion, sharp counter-attacks, and clinical finishing, converting their chances with impressive precision. Megida FC, though unable to overturn the deficit, fought bravely throughout the encounter, earning admiration for their resilience and spirited play.
Oboli FC’s outstanding performance did not just earn them the trophy—it came with a grand prize of ₦1,000,000, celebrating their tactical brilliance and consistency. Megida FC secured the runner-up prize of ₦500,000, while Mende United, finishing in third place, walked away with ₦300,000.
