The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) has promised to apportion larger percentage of the 2020 budget to education, assuring that basic needs would be fixed in the schools across the community.

The council chairman made the promise during the Ifoshi Primary School 4th inter- house sports competition held at the school premises last week.

Obe, who was the chairman of the occasion, emphasised that education would be given greater attention next year as he encouraged the pupils to keep growing in their academics and make use of their talents.

He said the sports competition in schools is a talent hunt where the children’s talents are discovered, urging the parents to always support their children.

“If you’re good in sport, you have a better tomorrow and if you’re good in academics you have a better tomorrow,” he told the pupils.

The chairman then urged every resident to do their best to make Ejigbo a better place.
Obe therefore commended the Chairman of the Parent Forum, Ifoshi Primary School, Mr. Kamiludeen Baruwa for his commitment towards the development of the school, disclosing that he (Baruwa) facilitated his (Obe’s) coming to the event.

Kehinde Bamigbetan as its Patron came 3rd, while Yellow House got the 4th position.
