The Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsuru Bello (Obe), has promised to represent the interests of all the communities in the draft of the year 2020 budget.

The council chairman made this clear in response to the request by the communities for their interests to be included in the 2020 budget.

Speaking at the budget stakeholders’ consultative forum organised by the council, Bello said the forum was organized to ensure that all the communities were carried along in the draft of the budget as all the 110 CDAs in the council were represented at the forum, presenting their individual community needs.

Roads, culvert, security, drainage are among many requests but there were more requests for tarring of roads.
He also assured the residents of Daleko, Coker and Alhaji Obe of viable solution to the perennial hold-up experienced on the roads, saying Dauda Ilo road would be ready to ease the pressure.

The council boss therefore urged the road users to shun ‘one-way’ drive, advising parents to guide their children while crossing the roads.

He appreciated the people of Ejigbo for their support in the development of the LCDA, declaring that the government alone could not do everything without the support of all the CDAs.
