NYSC Lauds Ifako-Ijaiye Chairman’s Commitment To Corp Members

The Local Government Inspector (LGI) for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ifako-Ijaiye, Mrs. Ogunjinmi Olubukola, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Mr. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani, for his outstanding support of corps members.

 

During a courtesy visit, Mrs. Ogunjinmi praised the council’s provision of six functional health centers catering to the medical needs of corps members and its efforts in creating a conducive environment for their service. She presented a photo frame to the chairman as a token of appreciation on behalf of the NYSC.

 

Mr. Tijani, in his remarks, reiterated his administration’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community development. “We are taking deliberate steps to reduce emissions and create a healthier environment for our community,” he said.

The Supervisor for Environment, Mr. Jamiu Odebiyi, was also present at the visit. He emphasized the council’s ongoing collaboration with corps members on various environmental initiatives, including tree planting and the desilting of drainages to enhance community living conditions.

 

The event further demonstrated the council’s partnership with the NYSC in advancing youth empowerment and community development.
