NWFL Premiership: Wemimo, Bolaji Scoop Home NWF ProStar And Security Striker February Awards

Remo Stars duo of Wemimo Mathew, Olamide Bolaji have both won the Naija Women Football Awards ProStar, Security Striker coach and player for the month of February in the NWFL Premiership.
The prolific forward, Bolaji maintained her high scoring form to score against all the teams she played against before the end of the first round as she racked up nine goals in seven games to clinch the award for the second consecutive time.
Remo Stars Ladies gaffer, Wemimo maintained the unbeaten tag in seven matches at the end of the first round. She garnered 12 points from four games with 12 goals scored and one goal conceded to earn her the bragging rights as the best coach in the month of honey and love.
Bolaji was a thorn in the flesh of opposing defenders as she found the back of the net six times in February while she led Remo Stars Ladies to the top of the NWFL Premiership group B table.
Wemimo wrapped up the first stanza of the Nigeria topflight women’s league with a triumphant victory against Nasarawa Amazons in Ikenne.
Bolaji also won the player of the week once in the month of February.
